The Santa Fe Reptile and Bug Museum is seeking a permanent, physical location in Santa Fe and is currently fundraising with this goal in mind. You can make a tax-deductible donation here: https://santafereptileandbug.org/donations

Finding a suitable permanent location is going to be a long process! We decided to open a smaller, temporary version of the Museum in the meantime so that we could continue to serve the community as well provide a place for our animals. We do not have a long-term lease at this location, so we designed the space so that it could be moved easily should the need arise. The SFRBM strives to foster a connection between people and the natural world by crafting exhibits and hands-on experiences using our collection of unusual creatures, artifacts, fossils and more. We use the natural fear and fascination people have for these misunderstood animals to help visitors have a better understanding of the environment we all share, and the importance of protecting it. We were formerly known as the Harrell House Bug Museum and changed our name when we became a nonprofit in 2022.
