Red, White, and Balloons Celebration.  
The Balloon Museum is THE place to spend Independence Day in Albuquerque.
General Terms

Transaction Fees:
There is a 6.8% + 99c per ticket processing fee charged for each purchase, a 3.4% credit card transaction fee added to the price of each item. 

Prices are subject to change.

You agree, as part of your use of this ticketing platform, to release the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Foundation (AAIBMF) from any and all damages that may arise from use, including, without limitation, incidental or consequential damages. AAIBMF is not responsible and shall not be liable for the listings contained within the ticketing platform, including technical inaccuracies or typographical errors notwithstanding our efforts to eliminate them. 

Tax Deductibility: 
The Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. Tax ID 85-0323409.  Forty (40%) of your event tickets are tax deductible. Please keep a copy of your receipt for your records. 

Refund Policy
Due to high demand, there are no refunds once your Balloon Museum Foundation Event order has been processed. There are no refunds or exchanges issued for unused tickets. If you are unable to attend your ticketed event, you may transfer your ticket(s) to someone else.
Cancellation Policy

Please read carefully.

Red, White and Balloons is held RAIN, SHINE OR WIND. The meals and activities at the Balloon Museum proceed regardless of balloon glow or fireworks status. Sales are final. Refunds or cancelations are not given.

A Museum Foundation Event is the ticketed event held at the Balloon Museum while overlooking fireworks and other activities at Balloon Fiesta Park, which presented by the City of Albuquerque. The Museum Foundation Events are presented by the Balloon Museum Foundation. The Museum Foundation Events are held simultaneously during the City of Albuquerque's Freedom Fourth event, produced by the Special Events division of the Department of Arts and Culture.

Canceled Museum Foundation Event 
While the weather may occasionally delay or prohibit a balloon glow and fireworks shows from taking place, it is rare that Museum Foundation Events at the Balloon Museum will be closed entirely. If the Balloon Fiesta Park or the Balloon Museum area is deemed unsafe by weather or other circumstances and Balloon Museum or Balloon Fiesta Park management determines that it is not hospitable for service, Museum Foundation Events may be canceled.  

 If AAIBMF cancels a Museum Foundation Event, the following options are available:

  • Refund. If a Museum Foundation Events session is cancelled City of Albuquerque and Museum Management Staff, or by the Foundation, your tickets may be refunded.  
  • Donation. Donate the cost of your tickets to the Balloon Museum Foundation and receive receipt of your donation to a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Item Transfer Policy

In the unfortunate event that you are unable to attend your purchased event, you may transfer your tickets to another individual. The recipient agrees to abide by all policies put forth here.

If parking passes have been mailed or delivered to ticket purchaser, additional parking passes will not be issued without charge.

Age Restriction

All youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Individual youth tickets must be purchased with an adult ticket.

Miscellaneous Policies

PARKING PASSES

A Parking Pass is required to park at the Balloon Museum for Red, White and Balloons. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PARKING PASS NO LATER THAN JULY 3RD. 

If you purchased a parking pass or package that includes parking passes, a hard-copy, individualized parking pass will be mailed at no additional charge via USPS first-class mail for orders received through June 25.

Passes purchased after June 25 WILL NOT BE MAILED. After that date, you may get your parking pass by:

  • Will-call at the Balloon Museum Gift Shoppe - June 26-July 3, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The museum will be closed Sunday, July 2.
  • Use a Courier Service. Please note that we cannot guarantee service by independent businesses. If you opt to hire them for delivery, you will be hiring them directly, and not through the Balloon Museum.

LOST OR STOLEN PARKING PASSES
Lost, forgotten or stolen parking passes cannot be replaced but you may purchase a replacement pass by calling (505) 880-0500 or emailing tickets@balloonmuseum.com. 

ADA PARKING
The Balloon Museum Lot Parking is connected to the Balloon Museum.  ADA parking spaces are available for those with a valid tag.  If you do not have a Museum Lot parking pass, follow the parking attendant instructions to park in the event lots.  Please note, some event parking lots are quite a walking distance from the Balloon Museum.
